My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms looked recently done, they were smaller than expected and lacked sufficient lighting, giving a dingy and dark feel. On the positive side, the service was excellent, with staff going out of their way to assist, though some lacked a bit in customer-facing skills. The location was ideal for my visits, but the dining options were limited to the standard buffet-style choices. The hotel is in the process of updating its facilities.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the rooms were very spacious, with a large flat-panel TV, free internet, and a comfortable bed with nice linens, and all at a more affordable price compared to some others. However, the cleanliness of the rooms fell short of my expectations, and the bathrooms could have been cleaner. Despite these drawbacks, the price was reasonable for what we got.

The location was very convenient for us, with easy access to various eateries and pubs within walking distance, which was a huge plus. The interesting architecture and street art added character to the surroundings. On the downside, the hotel had plans to build a new property on the land, which could disrupt the peace and ambiance of the area.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were basic, reminiscent of typical motel fare. While the food was acceptable, it lacked the special touch one might expect from a boutique hotel, feeling more like a standard chain experience. However, the grilled dishes stood out as a positive aspect.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the room felt dark and dreary with a cheap look, the hot breakfast was a lavish treat. The staff at the reception were super friendly and accommodating, although the room's small closet and toilet issues were a downside. The location near beautiful trees and a small fireplace was convenient for our trip, although the dining options, while constantly refilled, were too sugary. The premium suite had great amenities and easy access to venues. Overall, the stay offered a combination of positives and negatives.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were large, well-decorated, and left available on the second floor, making it easy for us to settle in upon arrival. Our deluxe suite was spacious and very clean, providing a comfortable experience overall. The service was top-notch, with very cordial, pleasant, and helpful staff making our check-in and breakfast hassle-free. The hotel's location was perfect for our visits to the Eastman School of Music and University of Rochester, river campus, allowing us to park our car and easily walk to nearby restaurants. Although the breakfast options were nothing special, the make-your-own waffles were a nice touch. The facilities were great, offering everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
